It has officially been one month since we got our 2026 Tesla Model Y premium AWD w/ white interior, and we can confidently say we are completely in love with this car.

What surprised us most is how much the Tesla changes the entire driving experience. It is incredibly smooth, quiet, responsive, and packed with technology that makes even everyday drives feel more interesting. From Full Self-Driving and the massive touchscreen to Toybox, games, light shows, and constant software features, it feels less like owning a traditional car and more like driving a piece of evolving technology.

We have also really enjoyed taking it on road trips. The navigation system makes charging stops easy to plan, the interior is comfortable, and there is plenty of space for luggage and travel gear. We expected charging to be one of the biggest adjustments, but so far it has been far easier than we imagined.

Of course, no car is perfect, and there is definitely a learning curve when almost everything is controlled through a screen. But after one month, the positives have massively outweighed any small frustrations.

The biggest surprise is simply how much fun the Model Y has made driving again. We find ourselves looking for excuses to take it somewhere, experimenting with new features, and planning more road trips around it.

One month in, we are very happy with the decision—and somehow even more excited to see what owning a Tesla is like six months or a year from now.
